About Koshi Premier League
The Koshi Premier League (KPL) is a recently established cricket tournament in Nepal, introducing an innovative 100-ball format to the nation’s cricketing landscape. The league features six teams, each comprising eleven players, competing for the coveted KPL trophy. Player selection is conducted through an auction process held in the first week of Baisakh, allowing teams to strategically build their rosters with top talent. The inaugural season of the KPL is scheduled to take place from May 31 to June 29, 2024, as sanctioned by the Cricket Association of Nepal. This tournament aims to invigorate the cricket scene in Nepal by offering fans a fresh and exciting format, while providing a platform for players to showcase their skills in a competitive environment.
